Henna with a seaweed tartare leaflet

We recently attended the HRC Exhibition held at Excel early in March, we had a small stand within the Market Hall section of the show. Although there was some apprehension prior to the show, the resulting footfall was steady, and we met a wide range of visitors.

One of the main reasons for exhibiting was to try and gain further customer awareness of the products including salted, marinated, and smoked anchovies, fresh organic seaweed all hand-harvested, and supplied as a raw ingredient and in a range of added value formats like seaweed tartare and seaweed mustard. Samples were available and tasted with much interest and positive feedback coming from the visitors including development chefs and key buyers, all of whom asked for further information and follow up.

As well as the products on display, a company information pack with various product leaflets were available. The exhibition has provided a worthwhile platform for showing new products to existing and potentially new customers whilst having interesting conversations with people.
